This is a concept drawing of an underground city.  The idea here is that the ice caps have all melted and above ground has turned into a desert like terrain.  The average temperature is now 150 or higher.  Rooms and windows have been carved into the caves and pieces of wood and metal used for makeshift doors. There is one exit with a ladder, providing light and sometimes water from the rain.
